About our History
From local to global impact
SPLIT was initially founded by Dominique Da’Cruz in 2015 in Washington, DC, where he began providing tech media education to local students. Building on this success, he secured a contract with the New York Department of Education to offer tech-focused skills to students in Brooklyn, collaborating with various community partners. Today, under the joint leadership of his wife, W.E. Da’Cruz, and business partner, Dr. Naomi Jordan Cook, SPLIT has grown beyond its original scope. It now serves as the nonprofit arm of their technology company, Virtual Global Consultant Group, designing and delivering tech-anchored projects across diverse fields worldwide.
From Ghana to South Africa to Zimbabwe to Uganda to Malawi, SPLIT has delivered a series of programming teaching eCommerce to artificial intelligence to help bridge the digital divide.
